Guberman, a story originally published in Prairie Fire Magazine (Volume 27, #4; Winter 2006-07) was awarded the Gold Award for the Best Manitoba Article at the Western Magazine Awards held in Vancouver on June 20/08. It was also short-listed in the Human Experience category.
